Energy Vets Taranaki Ltd
Energy Vets Taranaki: We're here to help your pet stay happy and healthy.
We are still seeing injured wild birds at this time but please give us a call before you bring them to the clinic. Once here, stay in your car and call us so that we can then triage it. Any sick wild birds please do not move them from their location and call MPI.
If you have your own birds that are sick or injured please call our clinic to make an appointment. Please stay in your car and call us to inform us of your arrival and we will have a vet come out to you to triage them.
HPAI H5N1 (H5 high pathogenicity avian influenza) has a low human health risk, however it can be spread to those working closely with sick birds. Dogs and cats can also contract the disease so it is a good idea to limit exposure to sick wild birds where possible.

Energy Vets is a strong advocate of continuing education and staying current with new ideas as well as drawing on the combined experience of a big vet team. That way our clients and patients get the best of both.
Our trained nursing staff are passionate about their own pets and bring their caring attitudes to work every day making your pets stay at Energy Vets as pleasant as it can be for them when they are admitted either healthy or unwell.
From the new puppy or kitten to the much loved aged family pet we seek to understand your needs. When things go wrong after-hours we are here to provide you with 24 hour/7 day per week emergency service.
