June graduated from the University of Edinburgh in 2016. During her time at university, she undertook several equine externships including at Rossdales (Newmarket) and Donnington Grove (Newbury). Following graduation, she went straight into an equine internship near London with a focus on lameness and sport performance. After this, she moved to New Zealand and initially completed an internship at Marks and Ewen in Matamata where she worked predominantly with horses in the thoroughbred industry - racing, foal intensive care, anaesthesia, and stud work. After this, she moved up to Auckland to work with a broad range of patients, from top show jumpers and racehorses, to pet miniature ponies. She enjoys all aspects of equine medicine, especially poor performance investigation, stud work, and lameness. In her spare time, you will find her running around the trails in Taranaki, swimming in the sea, and rock climbing.
